For most people, a 50th class reunion is a time to party and renew old acquaintances, but Walt Williams isn't an ordinary guy --- he's a cop, and trouble seems to follow him everywhere he goes.
Old flames, bullies and a scorned classmate make Walt’s reunion one to remember.
The Mexican drug cartel is recruiting young Latino girls as drug mules and the Kansas City Police have hit a brick wall until Walt is given a lead by an old classmate.
Even then, it takes three unlikely heroes from the Whispering Hills Retirement Village to help Walt and Ox end the cartel's reign of terror.
Join Walt in a class reunion filled with mystery, intrigue, jealousy and a belly-full of laughs!

(Originally posted on Audible.com) The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Another fast read that I couldn't put down. I stayed up way too late listening to this book. As is typical with all of the Lady Justice books, there was plenty of witty one-liners, comedy, and drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. However, this book Walt and Ox had more cases to solve than usual and this time they had help from some concerned senior citizens in addition to Walt's merry band of misfits. There was also a brief trip down memory lane when Walt reprised one of his undercover assignment personas. I keep thinking that Mr. Thornhill won't be able to top the book I just listened to and then I'm pleasantly surprised when he proves me wrong every time. This is one of my all-time favorite series and I can't wait to see what's next!

Lady Justice and the Class Reunion edition by Robert Thornhill Peg Thornhill Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews

I am never disappointed by any book of the Lady Justice Series, and this one was no exception. As usual it had lots of action, plenty of humor and a message about something that seems to be going on in the world right now. But what I love most about Robert Thornhill books is that his characters are all older and are still able to contribute to society and kick butt. I have read so many books were anybody over 40 gets treated like a geriatric. So pick up a copy of one of his books, meet the gang, and I bet you will be hooked too.
Another adventure starring Walt Williams, an over the hill crime fighter with a sense of humor and a band of friends who help him catch the bad guys. Each adventure finds the group facing danger but winning the day as they get into amusing situations as they seek justice.
I love this series. Its refreshing to read a story with genuine characters, with flaws and virtues. The fact that the main characters are not even of middle-age, but elderly adds that establishment of wisdom in old age, the idea that growing old means accepting your limitations and still being a fan of living life to the fullest. Walt's motley crew for all their differences in life and experience continue to delight the reader. Every one of these books leave me pondering the nature of people or situations with a new perspective. Great. Its nice to be entertained and often enlightened.
The books in this series never disappoint me. I just can't get enough. They are so funny that you 'd better not be eating or drinking anything or you will get choked like I did. It is great to see that old folks can still accomplish a lot and they don't need to be put out to pasture. Please keep writing.
I got this book on a lark and was pleasantly surprised at the similar events in the story line and my own life. I went to my 50th high school class reunion in 2013, after graduating in 1963, one year after that of the lead character. And, no kidding, I was also the President of my school's Beta Club. And much of what is describe as high school antics, also occurred at my school. The only thing missing was that story did not take place in Texas. Read it and you will enjoy it.
Cover art and title prepare us for something to do with crime and old age.

We follow two main groups of people, one of which involves a policeman off to his class reunion and the other group three old friends who know they will soon be off to the happy hunting grounds. The main groups cross paths with drug runners. What can a priest hint at, with regards to crime. and not reveal things he learned during a confession? How can the police be given useful information anonymously? And how do the tips get treated by the police officers in charge ? There is humor, the wife learns a lot about her husband and his mates at his class reunion; there is background tragedy driving the tale forward and various forms of sacrifice.
Lady Justice and the Class Reunion
Written by Robert Thornhill

Robert Thornhill has delivered book 12 in The Lady Justice series. Walt Williams and his crew of senior citizen helpers are back solving crimes. A new group of oldsters are trying to pass information about a drug cartel, without breaking confidentiality. While all this is happening Walt is roped into helping with his 50th class reunion.

I love the mentions from pop culture that are sprinkled throughout.

Will Walt get to pass on words of wisdom about bullying? Will the nerds get revenge, 50 years later?

I can't get enough of these book!!! Please keep writing Mr. Thornhill.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. George Kuch gets better and better as the series grows!
