Didn’t get beyond the second chapter...If I’d read about ol’ Fran’s bio I probably would have passed on the book but Preston Child books have been readable...I’ve read 3 or so. This is AWFUL. Nothing like an Englishman writing about American politics...really! Global warming, American Troops that slaughter the innocents is enough to tell you he has no real knowledge of America. I’d return the book except I bought it awhile ago so it’s probably too late. Write about your own country dude...or make one up because the America and her military have done more to save and protect around the world than any other country in History...including the colonizing English monarchy.Product details

It started great very exciting I could not put down. Then as I said above, very rushed almost like another author took over writing

I really enjoyed this book, the characters were interesting and believable.
A little slow and did not really end not sure if I am purchasing the second one
A story chock full of capture, escape, capture, escape, and yet completely lacks effective suspense. A great deal of formatting and editing errors, this book seems more like Child gave an outline of a story for someone else to fill in. Quick read and thankfully inexpensive. Won't be back for the continuing adventures though.
